"My husband and I just got married in June 2011 in Brooklyn, New York. We were reluctant to hire a wedding planner for a couple of reasons; we didn't want to spend the money, and we thought that we could plan it better than anyone else--it was our wedding, after all! We begun the planning process, but a few months into it, we realized that we needed help, lots of help. Our vision was so unique that we worried it couldn't be done. We had our venue.
